Graphic design is the use of visuals to communicate – it is considered a subset of ‘visual communication’. Graphic design is used on everything from items as small as a postcard all the way up to billboards. 

Graphic designers have a sharp attention to detail to determine the best fonts, colors, and layouts to use to visually communicate a brands’ image. They have the ability to invoke emotions from customers to elicit a call to action from their buyers. The call to action may be a sense of urgency to ‘call now’, ‘purchase while supplies last’, or ‘sign up today’.

Graphic design is truly an art form of the 21st century.
